Why we made this?

In 2022, Sydney Marathon became an Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate Race.

Not everyone believed. The hills, the crowded starts and the course itself were all questioned.

In 2023, marathon entries surpassed 17,000—a 240% increase from 2022 and a new participation record. The dream moved closer, and those who were there will never forget the heat.

In 2024, runners around the world united behind one message:

Make Sydney A Major.

In 2025, TCS Sydney Marathon staged its first edition as an Abbott World Marathon Major.

Looking back, it all feels like a mirage—once distant and uncertain, yet made real one step at a time.

Sydney Mirage was born from that journey. This singlet celebrates the runners who turned doubt into belief, and a distant dream into a Major.
